We are experiencing times in which people in many parts of the world are living under conditions of extreme violence, brutality and oppression. Moderate men and women of all political and religious persuasions are appalled at the speed with which war has approached their lives; not necessarily war in the sense of all-out conflicts between nations, but war in hearts and especially war in minds.
